More Thoughts on Quitting

(This is a late post and should have been posted last December 15.)

While I was on the rampage in finding blog posts that would soothe my craving to buy the stupid tablet, (it is stupid because I couldn't get it out of my head) I was able to somehow dig up some posts off of Bo Sanchez' Blog explaining a thought I've had regarding what I'm going through at this time. It's number 5 on that blog post.

See, I am now referring to the tablet as stupid because my Millionaire mindset did not cover wants and needs and cravings.  My Millionaire Mindset for the last 3 months only covered how to get out of debts, and how to ensure that I would no longer incur debt.  As it is, I've still got debt, and now, I'm reflecting on my current Expenses Checkpoint, I believe it will come in handy towards answering my questions about getting that tablet.

My mind is itching to give all the necessary explanations and reasons why I should get that tablet now. If I think about it, especially after giving PHP 2,000 for the electric bill, I figured I should find a better way of saving electricity.  Getting the tablet would actually be beneficial for the household!

But that's the not of this post.  The point is, I have a habit I would like to change.
This habit requires 21 days for it to be effective. I'm to Do It Daily.  Well, at this point, since I'm quitting smoking, and I want to bore the final nails in the hole, what I need to do is Stop Smoking.

Okay, so that's covered.  Yesterday, December 15 was the first day. So I have 20 days to go through. LOL.  In any case, the point is, Item number 5 on that post says if you want to quit a habit, it takes 21 days to do it. So I have 21 days to quit.
