Am I Ready to Work From Home?

For a while, I've been contemplating about working from home. Several good friends of mine have explored this option. We have heard of them exploring home-based jobs years ago, and to this day, they are still St their home-based jobs. The thing is, I grew up in the office based setting. Strict schedules, paid taxes, hmo benefits, annual appraisals, paid benefits, and yearly bonuses. Basically, a steady income and not having to worry about whether I'll lose my Job. And even if I mat risk for losing my job, I still get a heads up months before. It doesn't happen on the next day.

Getting Inspiration from Hannah Montana

No, I don't mean I'm going to do a review of Hannah Montana. Lol. But I just recently discovered Season 4 of Hannah Montana, which is entitled Hannah Montana Forever. She's older, more mature and you'll definitely see that she's too old to be Hannah Montana. Oh well I gotta go take a bath and practice!!

Plow Forward!

I have to admit, ever since I've started carpooling with friends to work, and with the emergence of Grab and Uber, I've never taken a different alternative to work unless I had to go there when I DIDN'T have work. I've always taken a cab, or I book an Uber. And ever since I almost lost my job, it has finally sunk in just how much effyort I actually need to put in order to keep my job. Therefore, I'm goal setting this month. This should attack some things I've been aiming for. For starters, I have one job, and one job alone. "Stay Awake". That's it. I just gotta STAY AWAKE. Sounds easy, no? Actually I realized that you cannot just STAY AWAKE especially since the job requires not to do anything else other than listen and repeat everything you hear. While staring into nothingness. Can't read nothing, can't talk to no one because carrying a conversation can become useless. Unless it's a conversation that you don't have to focus ...

Updating My Blog Look

While working on my blog, I suddenly got an amazingly painful headache.  I'm actually supposed to rest now because I've got shift tonight, and I don't want to be tired before going to church tomorrow. So anyway, I've been shopping for blog templates, but none that have been interesting.  I see some that I like, but nothing that really jumps out at me. While I'm shopping for blog templates for my Devotional blog , I'm thinking about the stuff that I want to do. Well, a few of them are: Continuing my Devotional Blog Creating a website for the church Updating the Kids' Ministry Facebook Page I'm pretty glad that we now have a Facebook Page.  Nowadays, you almost don't have to design anything because you can find templates online. I've actually tried downloading Dreamweaver and an FTP client for the start of our website designing business, but now I realized I almost don't need to design a website.  I can just download a template offl...

My New Laptop is Almost There

My laptop has almost all the essentials that I need to work with on whatever I need : 1. First and foremost, of course, Microsoft Office Got and installed the 2016 version, so I'm totally up to date where this is concerned. 2. Adobe Photoshop - for all editing purposes Downloaded a Danish version, unbelievably, but after going through some online articles and finally getting it right, I now have reverted my copy to the English Version. :) 3. Cool Edit for editing music Setting up for Viber, completing transfers of files from one laptop to this, and soon I'll set up networks.  So that's what I'm up to for now. And I am slowly resurrecting my Movie Database. Actually, I'm quite worried about this movie databse thing because I've already got a LOT of movies, but I haven't even been able to finish one movie. (Tomorrowland. I haven't even gotten to half of the movie yet.) I seriously don't have time.  I still can't wait to get set u...

Rainy Day Thoughts

There are a few things you can do during rainy days. Some that would totally be worth doing would be blogging for instance. I know for a fact that one of the reasons I'm doing this is because I don't have Microsoft Office installed on my laptop yet, and so There's really nothing I can do at the moment. Everything I need has to be done on Microsoft Excel, but alas, it has not completed its download just yet. I would love to watch a movie, and download the entire season of My Little Pony though. So for whoever stumbles onto this blog and finds it boring and not worth reading, apologies. My muse has taken a rain check. I'd like to say she literally did take a rain check. :-)

Back On The Blogosphere...

For the umpteenth time! Is that good or what?  Well, I have my new toy. It's kinda clackety, and kinda light, so I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. At least it doesn't seem to be as heavy as most laptops, but it's a start. I'm actually dreading getting this thing because this means I'll have to start paying for something AGAIN for another year. Oh well, it's something I need. Anyway, here's me for now.  More later. Just getting ready in time for 2016! Another awesome year ahead!
