My New Laptop is Almost There

My laptop has almost all the essentials that I need to work with on whatever I need :
1. First and foremost, of course, Microsoft Office

  • Got and installed the 2016 version, so I'm totally up to date where this is concerned.

2. Adobe Photoshop - for all editing purposes

  • Downloaded a Danish version, unbelievably, but after going through some online articles and finally getting it right, I now have reverted my copy to the English Version. :)

3. Cool Edit for editing music

Setting up for Viber, completing transfers of files from one laptop to this, and soon I'll set up networks.  So that's what I'm up to for now.

And I am slowly resurrecting my Movie Database. Actually, I'm quite worried about this movie databse thing because I've already got a LOT of movies, but I haven't even been able to finish one movie. (Tomorrowland. I haven't even gotten to half of the movie yet.)

I seriously don't have time.  I still can't wait to get set up with my laptop, but I'm afraid of loading it with too much stuff because for the first time yesterday, I saw that it could not handle Windows 10. So I'm still trying to figure out just how far this thing can go. I don't want to keep closing and opening the laptop screen.  It's actually quite flimsy, that when you shake the laptop, the screen opens wide. I'm not sure if this is a feature that comes with large screen laptops, but like I said this thing feels quite flimsy.

There are still a few things that I feel quirky about my laptop.  I still don't feel like I own it. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but I know that I want to take exceptionally good care of this thing. I don't want it to get broken easily. I guess I feel like I don't own it yet because it's on credit, and I haven't started paying for it, even.

But in any case, I hope it lasts longer than five years. I guess only time will tell, right? lol Okay. Well, that's all for now. I'll tell more later.
