Week 5: My Road to Financial Freedom / Becoming a Billionaire

Notice that on this new blog post, I have kind of edited the title so that it shows "Becoming a Billionaire".  For obvious reasons.  I want to become a billionaire.

So, first things first.  Good news! Whatever it was, they included either twice the amount of my Sick Leaves, or they included the entire amount of my incentive.  Whatever it was, they've included it.  And I earned more than I was supposed to earn.  In short, the two cut offs that I've been bitching about my pay, they've made up for it this payroll period. Good job, payroll.

Second thing:  I have seriously cut waaaaaaay below (just enough?) for my budget.  Obviously, I did not budget my groceries like my toiletries! But in any case, they are needs that I know I will be needing by next week.  I don't have shampoo or conditioner, so I bought shampoo and conditioner.  I admit I splurged a little bit when it came to the lotion, but hey, it's good lotion.  And I need cologne, so that wasn't included in the budget either.  If I think about it, I basically ate up my entire budget for fare and food.  But I've got that partially covered because I already bought the food I'm going to need for the next two weeks.  Hopefully it does last me.  But I would have to stick to my oatmeal diet, and nothing else.  I bought coffee which is kind of part of my diet for those days that I don't get enough sleep.  And I have to budget my money until next week, which I think I can pull off.  But the thing is I had to let go of some money, and I'm trying to figure out how the hell did my expenses get cut short?  Actually, I'm supposed to have some type of extra money, but if I consider it, I did spend more than I was supposed to spend.

Now that I go into the details, I actually haven't saved anything. Oh, but wait! I actually did have 100 stowed away in one of my envelopes. Can you believe it?  That was a surprise! LOL. Oh well, I'm hoping I get more surprises. Anyways, Maybe I should just figure out how much I'm going to spend for the next six days. I project my expenses for the next six days to be only at P50 per day. I should stick to it. After all, I live close by.  My fare is a good P20. I even have P30 to spare. Yikes. Parang bata. But don't feel bad. It's only this coming pay period. Jonathan better live up to the expectations.  He better quit being a piece of junk and actually pay for what he should pay for.  Ang sakit sa bulsa ng ginagawa ko and I better be able to make up for what I spent. I could expect this much expense minus the splurge I did on the one pack of oatmeal, but I should be able to have enough for next cut off.  Better get to work on budgeting for next cut off.

But the reason I wrote this blog post was because for some darned reason, I signed up for a Coursera class on Financials. So just a thought. I don't know what the hell I did, or where I'll get the time to watch the videos, but I have homework due on the 29th, that's nine days away. I wonder what's going to happen to me. Uh, wish me luck, I guess.
